Tampa against winning teams last season: 1-5
Tampa against losing teams/8-8 teams: 9-1

Quite how you can claim Tampa are as good as Atlanta amazes me. Especially given that 1 win against the winning teams was a dead rubber for the Saints. I notice you miss out getting beat at home by the Detroit Lions in your building up of Tampa. Who's starting QB that day was the mighty Drew Stanton. I expect Tampa to be about 7-9, 8-8 next season which is pretty good for them. Still a young team but IMO they have a lot further to go than you think to win that division.

You can't blame injuries in the NFL,,, if Grant, Barnett, Finley, Tausher etc wouldnt have gone on IR, if Woodson and Driver hadnt of got hurt in the superbowl maybe Green Bay would have won the superbowl????

Exactly. Look at my Rams. Just about anyone unfortunate enough to start at WR for us this season lost their season straight after. Atlanta beat Tampa twice because they are better than them.

According to most people around we would struggle to win 4 games last year. All of a sudden we had 4 wins after 6 games and the same people were saying it was because we were playing teams who had losing records. Who cares! 7 weeks before that we wernt as good as them remember

Hey if we regress next year then I'll eat humble pie, but the majority of our squad will have been in the league 4 years or less next season. They are improving season on season and of course, no team ever misses the playoffs and makes it the year after do they?

Trust me I'm a fan of the Bucs so i don't want to put you guys down but your not near the level of Atlanta yet.

Take away the demolition job we did on them, they were simply sensational in the season. While i do think the whole Georgia Dome factor is a myth they a still a few levels above you.

I think you'll be there in a few years. You have all the potential pieces and a few more years of Freeman and Williams (should have been OROY IMO) and I think you can compete for the division. The only let down I can put on Tampa is the D-Line, specifically DE, which could do with improving to give you a better D.

There has been rumours about us going for him for a while. Big rumour was we were going to trade for him when Grant was down and i've heard it before this season too.

I'd be happy to have him, I think he could be sensational in our passing packages and he'd just add another dimension to our backfield.

The thing is apart from 2 games where they played a 2nd ranked team and we played a 4th ranked team from the year before our schedules were the same. Yet no one talks about the other teams having weak schedules. Also I never said we would win it next year. I think Ronde will keep signing 1 year deals until he feels he's past it. As for DE I can't agree more. We are bad when it comes to pass rushing and that is what most Bucs fans want us to look at 1st. IMO we also need a quality MLB as Rudd isn't athletic enough and I wouldn't be surprised if we let him leave. We are bringing together a good team though and the futures set at QB, RB (for now), DT, CB, S and I'd say we have 2 quality WRs. We just need to plug a few gaps here and there and I think we will compete.

That's a bit of a comedown from "we are as good as Atlanta". Much like us you have a good young team but much like us I'd say your another year or 2 away from being real competitors. We could get lucky though due to the lack of quality in our division. Unfortunately Tampa are in one of the strongest divisions in the league.
