I can't see Freeman getting a playoff gig for a while. The south is too QB heavy with Brees and Ryan. Ronde would have to play till he's probably 43 till he has a chance.

I disagree. We are just a good draft and a fee free agents away from having a good team. Remember we were beating supposedly stronger teams on a regular basis last year with half our starters missing and a team full of rookies. TJax is back this year too and I think he will be given 1 more chance. Jackson and Grimm as the safeties and Ronde and Talib as the CBs! That's up there with the best in the league.

If the rest of the division stood still, you might have a point.

They're not going to though. The Saints will be looking to bounce back from a less than stellar defence of their title, we'll be looking to address some of the areas we now know aren't going to cut it at playoff level and Carolina will tear the place up and start again which really isn't going to make them any worse.

IIRC you beat one team in 2010 that finished with a winning record?

That young ? He does seem older than 36. It might be a stretch at the moment for another ring with Freeman as QB as he's still quite young but you never know but the other problem is being in the same division as New Orleans and Atlanta.

We are as good as Atlanta and were in a position to beat them twice last season. In the 1st game it was just inexperience by Blount and in the 2nd game Talib had to come out through injury. Before that he had shut down White.

Anyway, I dount mind all the doubters. It'll be even sweeter when we prove them wrong... just like we made a step towards this year.
