Fair enough, it just read a little that way with you saying a player who effectively makes your midfield worse would improve Hull's midfield.

Not hard to be better than Ashbee TBH, I'd agree there, but I don't actually think he should be a 1st pick for City. Nolan isn't actually all he's cracked up to be IMO, and I'm not convinced he'd be an improvement over Boateng in anything other than maybe being just a little bit more mobile. Hence why my preference would be for them to pursue Huddlestone.

Nolan isn't all he's cracked up to be. Boateng was an odd one I thought, sometimes held the ball up well and like you say, Hull had the ball more when he was playing. However, other times he seemed to give the ball away very often and very cheaply, in a similar fashion to Nicky Butt.

Liverpool have put a bid in for Tuncay and Rafa has also had a meeting with David Silva.

I'd like them both at Anfield. Tuncay would be great back up imo.

I'm not. He saw the money and transfer kitty at Sunderland and realised he had a chance to prove himself as manager that can handle money, potentially to move onto bigger and better things...

Campbell and Simpson simply aren't good enough for United. Simpson would make a decent signing for a Blackburn type team, Campbell will probably end up on Burnley's bench, but would be better suited at Newcastle, 'Boro, Reading etc.

Gutted for Gibson, he's had a really good season when he's played, unfortunately he just hasn't had enough game time, I presume this signing is to benefit him rather than us, because with Hargreaves, Carrick, Anderson and Fletcher in the side he aint going to have much chance. I think he may enjoy a holiday to the North East however...
