so,what happened to these two wonder kids you reckoned were world class signings aka Borini & Sahin ? it's been about 4/5 months since I gave my opinion they were not good enough only to be slagged off so what's happened to these great imports ?

or do they need a bit more time......

Well, Borini broke a bone in his foot so has been out since October, but I guess that's just an excuse, right?

Sahin, as I said, had a mixed time. Played well in some games, struggled with the pace in others. Broken his nose in a game away in Europe and hasn't been seen since.

Did you know Luka Modric was voted the worst signing in La Liga this season along with Alex Song? Does that make Modric a bad player or just a bad fit?

When did I ever say these two were world class? Given that I had hardly seen Sahin play before he signed for LFC.

As for a replacement for Sahin, wouldnt mind Will Hughes. The kid looks a real gem.

It's been tough on Sahin I think, has he had a proper run the team? I rarely watch a whole game now, I watched us v Arsenal at the end of August/start of September? and he looked like a good player then but I've rarely seen him since. Or at least i've not seen him have an effect on a game (I've only seen the whole of United, Newcastle home) and Everton, Stoke away) I only watch MOTD.

Henderson needs to step up IMO. He's 22, 23 in June. Gerrard (although not much of a comparison in my eyes) had won 5 trophies by the time he was 22 at Liverpool and was starting week in week out.

World class players - when they sign
Premier league players - after 3 months
Liverpool players - after 6 months

Been wrecking players careers for many a year.

More than any other fans LFC fans get giddy about EVERY signing and seem to evaluate managers on whether they're "current" or not. Many fans come on here saying "Sahin" or "Suso" look's to have world class potential, acting like thei some kind of euro football guru, when in reality they haven't seem them kick a ball. I never seen Kagawa kick a ball before he signed for us( I still haven't) I remember Aquilaini being a top player in Serie A before being touched by the poisoned hand of LFC. Charlie Adam was one of the best in the PL the previous season. Joe Cole was an england international. Andy Carrol was one of the hottest properties in the league. Jermaine Pennant's career was on the up prior to signing. The blame everybody else culture at the club and the players NEVER being held accountable for their actions no matter what they do is disgusting. The worst thing is, that the club actually supports and encourages it. The once great City of Liverpool has now become more famous for a 60's pop group than it's football team.

Modric was a class player in an otherwise fairly ordinary THFC team ...

...Modric is now a more ordinary player in a more star studded team..

Drogbas first season at CFC from Marseilles was very ordinary by his standards and it took him a season to find his feet in the Premiership - I reckon Modric will come good but maybe the coach needs to use him more intelligently ?

The simple problem for Modric is that Ozil is playing in the same position (granted, slightly further forward) and is a; a bloody good player, and b; firmly embedded in the workings of the Madrid side.

great point for 'Arry who out-thought AVB tactically - no surprise there ! what the feck was Bale doing on the right side for example ?

a question : near the end the ball was fed through by a QPR player to an attacker who was adjudged (quite correctly) offside by the lino - Lloris went on to bring the attacker down which would have been a straight red card if play had been allowed to continue so should Lloris have seen red anyway seeing it was a bad tackle on the attacker (offside or not) ?

I reckon yes - he should have seen red
