Similar system used in BUAFL. [I know this unfortunately]

Team gets the ball on the opposition's 20 yard line, you get 4 downs to get the 10 or score. If you get a FG and the other team gets a TD, they win. Both get same number of points, you go again until someone loses.

Lost to Leeds in double overtime cause of this. x_x

What's the standards like in the BAFL/BUAFL? because I'm looking to play, but probably looking at next season for both (being persuaded in going to uni at the minute a couple of years late) and knowing the level before starting would be a good idea  had a look at Yorkshire Rams roster and the left tackle is 6'10 and over 300lbs :o

BUAFL is on average aboout a division 3 US college league, most teams are nothing special with a couple very talented players. Then again places like Birmingham, Loughborough, Newcastle and to a lesser extent Glasgow & Solent are developing into powerhouse teams. My uni has produced the best British player ever at least.

No idea about BAFL standard, just that a couple of our best players and 2 coaches play for the Staffordshire Surge as well, but BAFL is in a real mess atm.

With regards to the new O/T rules I think sometimes things are best just left as they are!!

Well the BUAFL sounds like a fun league for a DE/OLB :D it's just the sound of 300lbs+ tackles that doesn't sound like much cop to try and get by or seal the edge/block running lanes.

BUAFL is very much a running league, the only notable exceptions I can think of are Birmingham who have arguably the best QB in the country at any level, and we had problems running this year, so aired it out quite a bit, putting up some good numbers.

Frank Bauer, Mankins' agent, told Karen Guregian of The Boston Herald that the Patriots offensive guard is "wrestling cows'' with his father on their 10,000-acre ranch in California.

Apparently Donovan McNabb could be a Ram for a 2nd round pick (33rd) and Atogwe. (although there are reports denying this now).

Eagles get the better part of the trade if it goes down.

BAFA and BAFL really need to get a life. We still don't know what will come after this weekend. I know we are going where the Zebras (refs) go.

BAFL 2 has some very good players (for Britain), BAFL Premier have players pushing scholarships. Our head coach is the GB coach and the standards, he says, are getting better each year as clubs link up with the US College systems.

Wolverines have a link with Idaho State. I have a copy of their play book. I've learnt more from that than from ever watching the game.

Did you play Durham? What did you make of their QB. He has just joined us. Very good passer, but for an RB like me, he's a pain in the jacksie cause he slams the ball in from low rather than placing it in the basket.
