Just laid the favourite in the first and backed Waiters Dream. Not a good start.

Another loser at Chester. Great. The apt word being another, should've known as I have a winner there about as often as we see snow lay.

The money is coming for Katla in the next in Ireland so having a fiver on. Leaving it til the Leger if this one loses. Longhunter gets up to win by a neck. Don't believe it.

Go on Zoffany. Oh well. Showed nowt.

Might just play with the rest of the money I've deposited as I'm fairly confident on Rewilding. Big bet on the fave...

What a terrible, terrible day.

Decided things couldn't get any worse so had 25 on Sans Frontieres which has done the business.

Had a fiver on Waiters Dream (lost) at Donny, Tenner lay on Saahid in the same race (won the race)
Tenner on Edmaaj at Chester (lost)
Fiver on Katla at Curragh (lost BY A SHORT BLOODY HEAD!)
A pound on Quest For Success at Donny (lost)
29 quid on Zoffany at Curragh (lost)
100 quid on Rewilding at Donny (lost)

25 quid on Sans Frontieres (WON!!!!!!!!!) small compensation I suppose.

Thats what I had to take. Was going to bank on one and picked Rewilding so SF was a recovery mission.

I got the 11/2 on Monday or Tuesday still wasn't fav until today, was 11/4 second fav last few days which was stupid on the ratings with the Weld horse 13/8 was the correct price.

Need this Natural High tip to fire to put me in good profit for the day.

Trip and ground should be better for it then last time when it was expected to win and has one of the best amateur jocks around on it, Rajik coming 4th in the Irish St Leger is a boost.

One bet a day for me now when I bet, and a lucky 15 or something for other interests.

Looking back it was obvious SF was the banker over Rewilding. SF has the form in the book over the distance and only really had one serious opponent.
