I find the whole Beckham / England / give-a-cap-for-a-throw-in to be embarrassing.

He played well for Milan, he's playing well for Galaxy (although he needs to move to a european club and continue that form) and he always does well for England. He has huge WC experience which could be vital and still has lots of qualities to his game. People talk about his lack of pace and not beating a man, he never did that anyway even in his pomp for Utd.

I'd take him and I think Capello will too, providing he joins a decent European side and is in decent form.

Which sided full back. Indeed short of a striker. We have Heskey, Rooney & Crouch, target me who like to drop abit deeper to get the ball. Then we have Defoe who is a little speedster. We need another one like him imo, just that bit better.

To be honest he's not let us down so far. Rafa's a man who pays attention to detail, probably too much to be honest, give him a year under Rafa and he'll probably be a better defender. Although having Dirk Kuyt in front of him should help a lot.

It makes me laugh how Johnson's getting a lot of criticism, though, you can't expect him to keep every cross out so when they come in, where the phuck was Terry marking Eduardo? When Johnson took Eduardo out, why was Terry dragged in so much? Johnson was on his own marking two people at the far post.

As said, all Johnson really needs to do is get closer to players, like Cashley does, he seems to just wait for them to do something, when really, he should be in there snapping at his heels by the time he takes a first touch, forcing the error.

I can see how you have misread that. In reality, I picked the name of a team off the top of my head and went for them. Do I vvank (great use of the v's there) over Fabregas, Villa and Casillias as well then? No.

BTW, I would hope England beat Spain a million times over with hopefully Torres getting sent off in the 1st minute. Does that help, numbnuts?

I remember leaving Wembley two years ago feeling utterly dejected, surrounded by chants of 'Steve McClaren is a nice person'. Fast forward to last night and it was a little surreal. Superb atmosphere, superb performance.

Time to start looking for some flights to South Africa!
