Not at all. That comment was aimed at the individual for trivialising the issue.

I guess that answers one of the points raised by GT.

Yourself, GT and Diavolo Rosso know my views on this subject. We have discussed it here and face-to-face. You know my views of the United fans who chant about Hillsbrough etc., and you know what I think of City fans who chant the Munich song and those use the term 'Munich' when referring to United and its fans. I have never changed my view on the subject.

Some idiots on there don't half make you laugh. He was unlucky not to score on Sunday, and with a couple more games and a bit more confidence I'm sure he'll be slotting those efforts home. Rooney played well, and could've had another goal or two.

Fletch played well in the middle, looks like he is carrying on his good form from last year, shame about his woeful effort however.

Did you see our game on Sunday? I thought Foster looked very good, made some decent saves, and was quite commanding coming for the very few crosses that entered our box, he certainly looked better than at Wembley.

I forgot that watching on TV would mean I'd have to see/hear that dozy c*nt Jamie "look at my shiny trousers" Redknapp.

Don't deny it. Does the said have a track record for this?

Let's face it, Red Issue has a significant track record for such things.

I'll repeat what I have always said, each club has a number of undesirables following them. I'm not making out that one is worse than the other but I do get annoyed by a number of United fans, who I have discussed this issue with, they justify their actions by claiming, "Well, they sing about Munich" as if it's some kind of justification. Some United fans have used this to justify chants about Hillsbrough, Heysel and Galatasaray.

There are some United fans who goad visiting supporters in to singing about Munich. Opposition fans from clubs that have visited Old Trafford have repeatedly claimed that United fans perform aeroplanes themselves in the hope that opposition fans start chanting about Munich. I simply don't understand that, unless they want an excuse to sing about Hillsbrough etc., or maybe they simply want a reason to get in a ruck with them.

I believe that there are a section of United fans who revel in the Munich disaster. They are far worse than the opposition fans who chant about it, perform aeroplanes etc.. Pretending that it is important to you and then manipulating this faux grief is vile.

This is a point that I have made several times on here in the past, usually provoking an indignant reaction that I simply must be making it up because United fans don't do that kind of thing.

It's probably no exaggeration to say that I have seen more United fans giving the aeroplane sign, at Old Trafford, in the HOPE that they can coax City fans into doing it, rather than City fans doing it off their own steam.

What kind of mentaility is it when they positively beg teams to sing such disgraceful songs then actually cheer if some morons give them what they want?

As for the Munich reference in the programme, it was a fans page and was a slip up on the club's behalf. The person responsible paid the price with his job.

How do the fans around them not deck them there and then? Simply disgraceful.

Owen must be gutted. I would say with confidence that Joe Hart saves about 1 out of 30 one-on-one situations.

I watched most of the game. IMO it was a decent game. I thought it was much better than Spurs/Liverpool.

Foster played ok but he looked a tad heavy-legged with the long-range effort by DJ Campbell. I remain unconvinced. He makes too many mistakes.

Joe Hart had an unsure game. Although to be fair, the defence in front of him was dreadful. Quedre as a centre-half. Deary me. Hey have technical players further up the pitch but that defence is going to leak a lot of goals. Gutted as Joe Hart is in my Dream Team!

Anyone who thinks Utd fans do the aeroplane gestures to goad the away fans into singing about Munich is highly deluded.

From when I used to go this is generally what used to happen:

After Utd missed chances - minority of away fans mimick aeroplane gestures.

Utd score - minority of home fans do aeroplane gestures in response.

Hardly an attempt to goad them into singing about Munich.

I think you are the only one that's deluded if you believe all that crap.

Listen pal, I go to Old Trafford once a year, which is traditionally once more than you ( ), I have seen these things with my own eyes on several occasions and I am telling you what happens, not offering an opinion.

A significant amount of United fans, before, after and during games, next to the away end, have done mock aeroplane actions with no provocation, in an attempt to goad our fans into doing it.

If you don't believe me, call a solicitor in and sue me for slander. You won't get very far.

It was better when Brum decided to play some football, for most of the time we might as well have been on the training field. We should have scored at least a couple more, but we haven't been able to do that for a while now. I thought the Spurs game was better, but TBF even that was a very one sided affair, and if it hadn't have been for the clown in goal Spurs would have been much more comfortable.

Aye, he looked very unsure then, but apart from that he didn't do too bad. I still prefer him between the sticks than Kuszczack.

He did OK with some of the long range shots, but he did make a fair few mistakes.

Long range, where did he take the shot from, Leicester.
