If the Aussies have any chance, this partnership must last the day, mainly due to Haddin being the last batter. The tail is exposed after this, and Australia don't have a Monty Panesar, so they won't last the entire 5th day

If Haddin gets 150 and Clarke gets 200, they would probably be about 50 short of the total, which the tail could just about get.

I said at the start of the day we needed to get 6 wickets so only one of their top seven was at the crease.

That said, I'd still say it was Englan's day.

Realistically, one wicket in the morning session and the win should be ours.

The problem is that this sort of partnership inspires the tail enders, can expect Johnson, Hauritz & Siddle to get a few.

This partnership is really dangerous, one the runs needed get down to 150 then if these two are still there I make them favourites. The tail got runs in the first innings so no reason why they can't again. I can't believe this is even up for discussion as at 128-5 it was game over.

If the sun shines tomorrow I am going for an aussie win
