We should drop out of the FA and Carling cups and play in the two European competitions. We should be able to have the fixture list adjusted to us 'cause we are the mighty Liverpool.

You will be out of the 2 domestic comps anyway before the real test in europe starts

Read an interesting stat before (I know you're into all this), apparently Atletico Madrid (excluding qualifiers) have only won one game in Europe this season and they're in the semi's over the Europa league taking on the mighty Liverpool. Madness.

Wasnt so long ago that they went out of the champions league without losing a game though was it?

Which is a perfect illustration of the ridiculous fact that there are rewards for failing to qualify from a Champions League group.

On the other hand it means your captain shouldn't have to cheat to make sure you don't lose this time.
