paul hanaghan for jockeys championship, leading at the moment by 7 and just ridden a four timer at musselburgh to add to it

40/1 with ladbrokes just snapped it up !

8 ahead at the moment and now top priced 3/1 !!!

come on hanagan keep getting the winners

still a tough ask with moore n hughes in the wings but 40/1 was a massive price at the time and even more so now

To be fair they should have done. Comical defending, and a couple of penalties that weren't given mean my accumulator is down after the first game.

I backed it this morning at 7/2. Horse was pulled out at approx 5.50pm, several bookmakers (including Bet365) refunded stakes. 6.15pm and the horse is back in, and it gets absolutely hammered in the betting, right down to 9/4. Some bookmakers (including Paddy Power) placed the money back on the horse on behalf of their members, while others (including Bet365) didn't bother.

Absolute disgrace, only in Ireland.

Blame the Turf Club - this the Whitmore maiden hurdler Dave?

Admin error - to be fair it's happened before, more likely to be the PA or SIS to blame as they send the NR's to the bookmakers who then apply the Rule 4's and re-form the market. It happens quite a bit with South African racing and incorrect forecast dividends or the wrong results on the dogs and the like.

Not been in work today as at Sandown so wouldn't know if it's like that in this case - quite fancied King Rocco in the race after a staying on run in a nice enough Hunter Chase last time out but didn't back him.
