Well I'll admit I don't have a hard copy of the information. The BBC said they had won 45 from 48. As far as I know they had only lost to the USA in the Confederations Cup in that time leaving 2 games as a draw. I stand to be corrected on this.

Well done Switzerland. Thought they were deserving of the victory. Defended well and could have had more.

According to the wikipedia page it is, there's a list of results there

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spain_nati ... feated_run

Matches after the 35 game unbeaten run are just above that section.

Anybody else finding that the BBC website is running incredibly slow for any WC related stories? I'm guessing this is because they have felt the need to whack about 5 videos on every single page

Shakes things up a little bit in Spain's group now at least. Swiss and Chile on 3 points, some ground for Spain to make up on them two.

How are ties decided in the WC? Is it goal difference or results against? Got to fancy Spain to fight back against Honduras so it could be very tight heading into the last games

I'm guessing goal difference but I'm not too sure to be honest. To be fair I fancy Spain to hammer Honduras in the next game but should Spain and the Swiss draw that would make the last game interesting.

Well I got South Africa and Switzerland in the sweepstake at work so at least they both look like they are going to go down fighting. Great result for the Swiss today.

Hope Uruguay get the job done tonight. Don't want the louder than normal vuvudrainpipes making it out of the group stages.
