Thought that a 1-0 scoreline was a ridiculous scoreline for that game. We could have been beating Portsmouth in the manner we did to Wigan and Stoke. Instead they should have taken the lead.
Thought that it was one of the most ridiculous commentators comments in recent times that because Pompey had put together 5 minutes of decent play for the first time before their pen, somehow they'd have taken a deserved lead. A deserved lead??? FFS we hit the woodwork 5 times in the first half.
Just a demonstration of the bias of a football fan in the heat of the moment, I
saw Drogba's shot well over the line when it came down off the bar. Balletti didn't touch the diving tvvat for their pen. On the first replay I could see that it was a 100% penalty and Drogba's shot didn't cross the line, but that's not what I saw at the time.
I thought Joe Cole's cameo was a perfect example of what Joe Cole is right now. He had a decent chance that he should have buried, but I think he completely shanked it and was lucky that it hit a defender close by or it would have been seen as the dreadful shot it was. I hope it was his last time in a Chelsea shirt.
