Great race tomorrow in the Group 1 Darley Prix Morny going to have the likes of Libranno and Soraaya from home taking on the best in Europe, am going with Irish Field which is currently 4/1 but I reckon that home horses will see the money so might wait, Irish Field won the Prix Robert Papin which had a big York winner in Approve back in 3rd so its strong form but alot of these had that, its sire is Dubawi same as Makfi and was with Delcher Sanchez (Bannaby and Equiano) but since that win has been sold an will race in Hong Kong in the future.
Bloody brilliant trainer is Mauricio
Not keen on the switch to John Hills and I rate the CD Group winning filly Pontenuovo as the main danger to the favourite after Irish Field's sale and switch of stables (this is an afterthought as he was originally due to straight to Hong Kong).
Pontenuovo is currently available at 8/1 generally but if she doesn't win then it would be Irish Field for me, been very impressed with Libranno in his two Group wins both visually and on the clock and he's the fastest 2yo I've clocked thus far this year in GB and Ireland. Will probably back him at 20/1 for the 2000 Guineas before todays race.
