I can't imagine anyone's gone that long between GP's, so I reckon you're right. If we're being pedantic it's slightly under 10 years, with Japan 99 being his last race, but that's splitting hairs.

Still, Clarkson will be happy. They can re-run that clip of Badoer in the Ferrari CS racing (and failing to pass) Clarkson in the Porsche GT3 on the next series of Top Gear.

One thing I do still have is hair. The eyesight's attrocious, the guts growing, but the hair's still in place.

On the subject of Clarkson, whatever happened to the Top Gear tie-in with the F1 coverage? I'm sure they mentioned something about it when the BBC announced they'd won the coverage back.
