Talking of Everton, we've signed Eric Dier on a seasons loan again.

It says if he shows the potential he did during the 5 months he's already spent on loan we'll make an offer for him.

What's the point? If he's good, we can't afford him. Signing him to another loan will only mean he'll either impress another side, one which actually has money, or his value will go up.

We've got no chance of signing anyone this summer if 5 months with a player isn't enough for Moyes to make a decision.

He'll only play in the reserves/academy again though. We won't see a young centre play in the side so don't understand bringing him back.

From whay I have read, Bayern have been tracking him for months. I would wager Everton were aware of this and were wary of moving in as they knew a bidding war is the last thing they need.

Coentro chooses Madrid over Chelsea. Madrid are going to have a very strong squad next season.
Anyone seen much of this Savic lad? Any more players to turn Liverpool down?

I would have hoped that Liverpool would have got the majority of their spending done before the trip to Asia. But still Charlie Adam or Downing havnt signed on the dotted line....

Which players have turned Liverpool down? I'm pretty sure we made a bid for Phil Jones and lost out to United. Fair enough, but even that I can't prove. There's no evidence to suggest we bid for Young, Clichy, Savic or Wickham unless you have proof to the contrary?

I was quite suprised to read this morning that Bolton had let Johan Elmander go to Gala on a free transfer. Was his contract up, and how come they didn't renew it? I thought he had a really good season last year and looked sharp. I always remember the goal he scored at Wolves - what a fantastic turn and finish that was. Big loss of profit considering he was there record signing.

I've not seen anywhere that we'd 'bid' for him, only that we were interested and were watching him. Therefore, he had nothing to 'turn down'. Also I'd like to know, which other players have turned Liverpool down that you speak of (apart from Jones)?
