He isn't that bad of a player. I've defended him on here before, he is a huge lad with underrated ability, but he isn't the type of forward Liverpool need. Like most strikers, he has to get into a groove to be good, otherwise he's useless, and the only way he can do that is by playing. As good as he can be, he won't get 10 games in a row here, he'll be lucky to string together three starts in a row, even with Torres out, which I think will massively dent his confidence.
I dunno, we need somebody who's a bit more consistent, somebody who's got it in them to play for the big clubs, I don't think Carlton has it, to be honest.
