| not that you're obsessed with Balotelli, or totally blinkered to Scholes behaviour on the pitch, over the last 15 years, eh?

| Quote Catalancs="Catalancs" United better, or Premier League worse?'"
United are a lot, lot worse now, as is the league....Their performance in Europe is the most telling gauge of how much worse they are.....They would struggle to make the Champions League if they were in La Liga.
Saying that, they are still head and shoulders above the rest of the league.....A league which involves a club having spent more on a squad than any other in the history of the game and yet they are still mediocre....
Man City - Probably the finest example of how money doesn't guarantee you success....

| A lot of people say that Liverpool FC are awful, well at least they have an excuse in that they have awful players. What is Manchester City's excuse? With the roster they have, they should have had the EPL wrapped up in February, yet they are now 8 points behind the leaders and with only 6 games left.
I do not think Mancini will have another chance, he will be gone in the summer.

| Well, Manchester City aren't awful because they'll finish the season in 2nd.
Liverpool FC are actually awful, be lucky to finish in the top 7.

Yes, Liverpool are awful and their position in the league consolidates that. They have been awful purchases, play poor football and deserve to be where they are.
But using it's using the same logic. If Manchester City are not awful, then why are they not the one's that are 8 points clear, especially with the roster that they have?
I am sure that they will be overjoyed that they are currently in the position that they are in. I am sure Mancini's goal at the end of the season was to finish 2nd. Err, somehow I think not.
Manchester United have gone about their job, kept their heads down and not gotten involved in anything, and they will be deserved league champions at the end of it. City will not.

| Lets put things in perspective here. Around 10 years ago, Man City were in Div 3 when Man Utd were winning the Treble. City have come up short this season, but 'awful' they are not. They had a 100% home record until last weekend, so please get a grip.
City will just spend ££££ until they win it. They aren't going to go away. Maybe they will be that bit less awful next season.
