The thing with Ryback is that Vince is reportedly a huge fan of his. I remember reading that during his NXT Run, Vince thought he could be the #2 Face in WWE after Cena.

He needs to start working his way up to squashing actual wrestlers now to gain some credibility.

Only if it's guys from the bottom of the roster. You need to build up some serious top guys before you let this sort of character loose in the upper card
