If you don't grudgingly respect our two title wins. If you don't grudgingly respect the fact we've just put you out of the CL two seasons in a row. If you don't grudgingly respect the fact we just made the "greatest attacking side in the world, ever" look very, very ordinary and deserved to appear in our second CL final then that obviously says far more about you than it does about CFC.

Sounds like your jealous? who really cares its the internet and we are talking to strangers.

Three title wins. Jesus, you don't even know your own clubs' history?!

As for respecting them... Even Newcastle, Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland and Aston Villa have more titles than you. And they don't get much in the way of respect, now, do they? :)

Given that Liverpool have 18 First Division titles to Chelsea's 1, he's not going to grudgingly respect that, is he?

He should grudgingly respect our two Premier League title wins, seeing as they've never managed it and hopefully never will.

They don't get respect because, apart from Villa, all of their titles were won before most people on here were born.

Does that matter? If things happen before one is born, can they not respect that achievement? I wasn't born when George Best was in his peak, but I still respect him.

So just because Liverpool's Championships happened before the Premiership they shouldn't command respect? Nor should they count towards respecting current titles? Give over. Can't we tell Chelsea have no history, trying to use recent events only to gain respect from the real big boys of English football.

Liverpool Champions 18 times.
Manchester United Champions 17 times.
Arsenal Champions 13 times.
Chelsea Champions 3 times.

Shall we get onto the list of English clubs who've won European Cups as well?

No contest, no respect due.

Newcastle United have won the league 4 times. The last time they won it was 1926/27. 99.9% of oppo fans wouldn't know how many titles they've won, or that it was so long ago. Most oppo fans will just know that Newcastle have won the title but it is ancient football history and the present club are nowhere near to repeating it.

Most people won't respect Newcastle's title wins because they simply won't care about what happened so long ago.

Personally I don't care if some to55er Liverpool fan respects CFC or not. I just find it weird when United fans want to give him a helping hand when he tosses himself.

The reason is that he posts a lot of sense on here, whereas you post a lot of drivel.

If you don't care that people don't respect Chelsea, don't get your knickers in a twist.

Like I said, I could care less that you glory hunting tvvats from Liverpool and Manchester like to go to the woods and compare sizes. What you get up to is up to you. I just find it weird you're so open about it.

Can't do that at the mo as there's line replacement works in Manchester city centre.
There's a bus replacement service to the edge of the city centre (there should be Metrolink staff at Piccadilly to guide you to the replacement bus.)

Has 1 game ever produced as many comments and pages on this forum as last night's??? (most of them have been very funny too!)

And is it wrong of John Terry (as Chelsea captain and also England captain) to condone the behaviour of Drogba at the end of the match?
' "I am fully behind Didier for the way he reacted," declared Terry. '

But then you're saying you should be shown respect because you've won 2 pre-1993 titles and Liverpool haven't. Ergo, those 18 titles don't count in terms of respect.

Like I said, I could care less that you glory hunting tvvats from Liverpool and Manchester like to go to the woods and compare sizes. What you get up to is up to you. I just find it weird you're so open about it.
