this ' meeting criteria' problem makes a complete mockery of the P & R system in RU
surely the RFU have to show some flexibility ?

| Quote Dunbar="Dunbar"That is perfectly fine with me. 17k more people did watch the Union match at Wembley than the Super League round that weekend and that is a statement of fact. As I have said previously, well done to them
What price each of those of 83k paid for their tickets is a matter of conjecture as is whether the whole enterprise was profitable for Saracens or not
[uThe next Saracens home game in the Premiership is on the 5th of May against Exeter and the attendance at this game is a real barometer for the success of Wembley[/u'"

| Oh, that four-figure crowd is nothing to worry about... really.
Looks like Newcastle will be in the Premiership after all next year.

Lovely scenes at London Irish. And these are supposed to be role-models?

If it's the "bundle" you're referring to, there's nothing wrong with a bit of biff.....they have completely sanitised fumbleball in Australia by cracking down of the fisti-cuffs. I see the London Irish coach is fuming....so maybe there's more to it than just punches, but as Tana Umaga once famously remarked to a ref, '"we're not playing tiddlywinks"
If you're talking about the declared attendance.....I agree 100%...very suspect all those 0,000's

| Cardiff blues moving back to the arms park. Good call I guess no point having 7,000 rattling around in the City stadium there is no life in the stadium during the games.

| Director of rugby union of the year?
Wigan sign Iain Thornley from Sale Sharks union on three and a half year deal. The centre is an ex-Warriors junior. Rumours have been going round for some time that he was frustrated and, dare I say it, bored in union.

| he didn't exactly cut the mustard in union. At the end of the day, a great union player is not necessarily a great league player, and vice versa.

I think London Welsh would be looking for a groundshare if they go up.
