FA Pretty quick to write to Barton to 'remind him of his responsibilites' regarding the gesture towards Torres, but nothing said to Torres himself regarding being a gobby little t*sser mouthing off at Barton when he clearly hadn't seem that Liverpool had a man down. he's becoming a bigger sulk than Le Sulk

He's not fluid enough to fit in our system. You see it when Adebayor or Santa Cruz play the front man out of the three that it's the way Tevez pulls the defenders apart and creates space for the others that makes the difference. Dzeko is not mobile enough to fit the bill if we are going to stick with the formation we have and the one that the manager likes.

I cant see us sticking rigidly to to our current formation. City are now in the fairly bizarre situation of having scored the most away goals in the league (16) and the joint fewest home goals (8). The current formation works very well away from home but we need to develop a twin striker formation at home if we are going to avoid the 0-0 draws. We havent been able to do that with Adebayor and Santa Cruz which is why I think we need someone like Dzeko plus a replacement for Tevez.

The current formation works very well away from home but we need to develop a twin striker formation at home if we are going to avoid the 0-0 draws.

In the last month, we have had players return from injury, new players have settled in and the team are beginning to look more comfortable with the formation. In the last month, we have played 3 away games and one at home. In the away games our finishing has been very good and we have managed to score a hatful. In the home game, we dominated Bolton but we were wasteful. I cannot see how it is anything to do with a need to have extra strikers.

We have also played 10 away games and 8 home games. I would also suggest that our home games have been tougher. From the top 4 of last year, we have played 3 of them at home, and only one of them away (Spurs).

I think we need someone like Dzeko plus a replacement for Tevez.

Indeed.

Not really. Your demeanour on here is of someone who receives tragic news on an hourly basis.

You can't be all grumpy and cross all the time and then wonder when people take you the 'wrong way'. Lighten up.

And as for the 'too easy' word play on Cook; again, let's not forget you're the chap who insisted on calling Wayne Rooney 'Blooney' the other week.

I could offer lots of reasons why I think Gary Cook is a nob but as you're not interested I'll keep it to one - I thought his dismissal of AC Milan in respect of the Kaka transfer was crass and showed a lack of understanding of a) Football and b) Manchester City football club.

 I think you are lacking in self-awareness.

The evidence:

I am too ‘serious’ yet you were upset by me calling Rooney, ‘Blooney’. I referred to him as Blooney because he once said ‘Once a blue..” and he was linked to City recently. You were upset because you thought I was intimating that he was overweight

You refer to Garry Cook as ‘crass’ yet minutes earlier you swap the second ‘o’ in his surname for a ‘c’.

You appear to be upset/angry about Cook saying that Milan “bottled it”? Calm down, dear. Why is that a big issue with you?

Lighten up, for goodness sake. Maybe living in Cheshire brings that out in you.

BTW you still haven’t explained the reasoning behind your views of Marwood. Is that because you know nothing about what he does at City? Probably.
