was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

Only so many ticket which were a tenner. Still double the price of the union.
Still seen no proof that all 83,000 paid a fiver or less..........17,000 fans more than all 7 ESL games achieved....

Sure was saw a tweet. "At wembley for the rugby no idea whats going on."
Says it all.
WoW.....a tweet. Must surely mean that all 83,000 had stumbled in by accident......and cetainly shoots holes in the BBC 's claim that they averaged 4,500,000 viewers for each of the 6 nations games....all those people tuned in by accident did they.
The day the RFL attract 83,000 fans for anything is the day your inane attempts at point scoring will carry any weight
BOT.
Will be interested to see the next gate for a sarries home match....

Nope.....20,000 tickets at a fiver, the rest started at 15 notes each......if all 63k were 15 each, that's 1,045,000 on the gate.......for 1 game at an average price of 12.60 each.... 17,000 less watched the ESL at the weekend...Ian Lenegan reckons each bumb in a seat is worth 9.75 to the club.....so about 400k less income for 7 games. Gotta lol at RL fans trying to shoot holes in a massive Union crowd
BOT .....March 31st deadline passed, but maybe they'd already told the RFU and just haven't gone public with the worst kept secret in Rugby.

Sale Sharks to leave Stockport and move in at Salford. Expect it to be officially confirmed tomorrow.
Not sure who this will prove worse for. Will Salford have their own stadium taken from under them?
Or will Sale be destroyed as Diamond and chums try to ruin the history of the club, and spit on the town's RU heritage, by rebranding them?
The only thing that keeps Sale's identity as anything other than just a suburb of Manchester is its RU team. Might the only winners here prove to be the original Sale FC?

Salford have a lease at the stadium, unless someone buys that out from under them they're going nowhere.
Steve Diamond doesn't need any help to ruin the image of Sale Sharks, he's doing pretty well on his own.
If what I've been told today is true; Gethin Jenkins, Casey Laulala, Dan Parks, Richie Rees, Martyn Williams, John Yapp, Rhys Thomas, Maama Molitika and Deiniol Jones are all on their way out of Cardiff. Add to that list the news that Ben Blair is in advanced talks with a French club (Agen?) while there are on-going doubts over the futures of Alex Cuthbert, Tom James, Tao Filise, Paul Tito and Ryan Tyrrel. At this rate, the Cardiff Blues will be playing an under 21's side next season. The club is in dire financial trouble and despite the recent six nations success, the future of Welsh rugby union is looking decidedly shaky again. That call to reassess the Welsh regions and possibly even the Celtic League looks more and more sensible by the week.
He certainly is. They've signed a 25-year lease apparently.
