If Dan Williams drops to 28, I will do cart wheels. Can't see that happening though.
Been looking at the college game for a few months now (admittedley it ended for the year at the start of Jan, but there are some pretty good prospects in the draft this year. Suh is a beast, but McCoy is another amazing player who is having some of the limelight taken off him by the big fella.
I don't really buy into the Clausen club, from what I've seen he's done well in the ND ofense, but I'm far from sold. Other than him though the QB class seems mediocre, so he'll go high. Locker's the man next year if he stays healthy.
From a Chargers perspective, I would love to strengthen the lines in the early rounds but can't see it happening due to the value at the times we pick. The like of Okung and Bulaga will be gone early on the offesive side, and Dan Williams will likely be gone too, who is by a mile the best NT prospect in the draft.
I think we need a RB for definite. I love the look of Ryan Matthews from Frenso State, but think the 28 in the 1st round is too high, and by the time our pick comes in the 2nd he'll be gone. Other RB's I like are Jhavid Best from Cal, who will probably be there at our 1st round pick and Jonathan Dwyer, who's from Georgia I think. The best RB in the class, CJ Spiller will be long gone by the time the Chargers pick. A sleeper to look out for is Largarnette (sp) Blount from Oregon. He is a bit of a beast who impressed at the senior bowl with over 7 ypc. The reason he'll drop down to probably round 4? He chinned a Boise State player on the sideline at a game earlier in the year! He was banned for a number of weeks by Oregon after the incident. I'm sure they'll be footage on any video sharing website you may wish to look at.
My favourite player in the draft, behind Suh and McCoy is Eric Berry. The new Ed Reed.
Since the Chargers went out, I upped my research on this years draft! Onwards and upwards and all that.
