I agree before the world cup i would have had Gabriel Agbonlahor, Darren Bent, Wayne Rooney, Carlton Cole and J Defoe. The pace of that would of terried people

Too many substandard players and our most important player playing while unfit meant that progressing further was always going to be difficult.

We went close, but with our ultimate lack of quality we just weren't good enough to overcome the bad luck/shocking lino.

One day the penny will drop about the game in these isles but as in RL some people think club club club and no further than that and then all the hype is built up for the BIG fall.

Terry, Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney are players that will get picked regardless of form, we need a manager who picks players on form not reputation. I honestly thought Capello would be the one but no same old same

What a waste of 2 weeks.

I hope the FA make them make their own way home and the fans throw tomatoes at them at the airport. Then I hope every single one of them gets booed at every ground they go to next season.

And someone can tell Capello to go. I'll send a tenner to pay him off. Apparently he's just said we played well and he wasn't talking about a game last year.

Please tell me who you'd put in the England squad ahead of those players.

There's no one.

You can only drop players if there are better options available.
