It's within the pocket so it's allowed, I think once a QB is out of the pocket then it'd be considered intentional grounding

I was under the impression that intentional grounding could only happen in the pocket? Once you make it to the outside you can aim for the stands to avoid a sack

Found this on Wikipedia though:

Intentional grounding - a forward pass is thrown intentionally incomplete so that the passer avoids loss of yardage or to conserve time. Note that there is an exception that allows a snap received directly from the snapper (i.e. not in shotgun) to be immediately 'spiked'.

Im expecting a tonking this week, I have had to sign a few free agents and currently the only sub I have that isnt on a bye week is Clinton Portis who is injured

Saying that Portis has been utter garbage so far this season anyway

Had to make a change to my team.

Laurent Robinson is out for the season, and he was the bench player i rotate with waiver players, so i picked up Mike Simms-Walker. Giving him the start, just not confident in playing either Royal or Evans at the minute.

You guys need to pick up jonny knox he will have a big day for the bears today.

Nate Burleson is another good choice at WR

Make sure you guys also have Glen Coffee and Tashard Choice on your team if they are free agents in your league and the Bengals defence against the Browns today.
