If Kenny goes, I'll be disappointed, but it's hard to defend that league season, it really is.
He's had us play some good stuff, we've played well a lot but haven't had the results to match. If we'd played poorly throughout I wouldn't have any doubts, but we have and the decent run in the cups also makes me support him.
I think Kenny can turn things around and I don't think it's time to completely start afresh. However, if Kenny is given another season, the expectations compared to results must be honoured. If we expect/want the top 4 more than anything else, then putting everything into that should be our priority. If we flop like we have this season, you can't really defend two seasons of spectacular underachievement, but if we get close to the top 4, then I'll be pleased.

If you take it that the chase for CL football 2013 will be even more intense than this year. 4 teams going into the CL from possible 8. 2 manchester clubs IMO will qualify. 3 london clubs, newcastle, 2 from Liverpool chasing the other 2 places. Liverpool would have to improve dramatically especially at home to overtake the 3 London clubs. Be interesting to see players in at Anfield during the summer.
That still doesn't change the fact that generally someone from manchester, a proper mancunian will more often than not be a 'citeh' fan.
United fans are a pick and mix from all over the country......./world.
Manchester United have more season ticket holders with a manchester postcode than city do.
So you are saying that more people in Manchester support City than United? i think even the most hardcore City fan one here or anybody with a brain will tell you different.
Disappointed that Micah Richards appears to have been left out of the Euros, particularly with Walker out. I could have understood it if Hodgson had a couple of Pablo Zabaleta's available to him.
I've been a big critic of Micah in the past but this season he's tightened up the defensive side of the game and been a constant threat going forward. He was unlucky in picking up a minor injury last month and was out of the team just at the point that Mancini decided to abandon rotation and go with a settled team. And Zabaleta has been magnificent recently. Micah wasnt so much dropped as the loser in a game of musical chairs.

Obsessed.
I doubt that many Mancunian youngsters have, in the past 20 years, chosen to support City rather than United. Apart from those that were dragged to City by their parents.
Quite a few people have commented on the age of the crowd watching the parade on Monday. The huge proportion of young kids. That's got to be good for us.

Do you think Kenny's conduct could ultimately be the factor that forces his exit, rather than just the performance of the team? They had former Liverpool player Howard Gayle on Talksport yesterday and he was very critical of Dalgleish and his handling of the Suarez racism situation. That incident dragged Liverpool as a club through the gutter, it really did. The handling the initial allegations and Liverpool's responses throughout were incredibly damaging to the club's reputation and a real betrayal of the proud history of the club. Gayle really slated Dalgleish over that and also his media conduct following that incident.
After the Suarez incident Dalgleish was arrogant, paranoid, often aggressive and ultimately incredibly rude to the people interviewing him and the companies they represented. Again he put the club in a poor light and behaved in a manner not befitting a Liverpool manager. There are a lot of former players who have spoken out about this during the season, mostly saying it's not like Kenny, but you can tell there is a growing resentment to the way he handles himself.

Rio Ferdinand's people are now suggesting that he has been left out of the Euro 2012 squad because of 'non football reasons'.
If true, that's ridiculous. When does the buck finally stop at John Terry? Is he that good that we have to select him no matter what he does?
According to rumours they are leaving Richards, Jagielka and Ferdinand behind. Not a bad back four if you throw in Cole. Is Johnson, Terry, Cahill, Cole any better?
