Cheers for that link. The AFL post about Folau is really interesting too.

I'm not sure what it is, but I like rugby league, and I increasingly enjoy AFL, but not really RU. Just can't put my finger on it, it seems illogical!

Just caught an hour or so of the IRB London 7’s. Are these people supposed to be the best 7’s players on the planet

RU may have caught up some way to League in conditioning and fitness but the standard of attacking play is so poor it’s embarrassing – the back moves are simply lateral passing until they run out of pitch, nobody going forward and attacking the line to create space and opportunity. What’s worse is the commentators are creaming themselves over the quality on show

7s is an abortion of a game. 9s works but I think 13 is the ideal number I'd players on one side. 7s always reminds me of tag or British Bulldog.
