Still, what's your point? He's referring to Derby games.

Sheffield Wednesday's Derby is against Sheffield United, not Hull City.

And to class Hull City and Scunthorpe in the same league as the above game is simply pathetic.

To any Preston fan too, Blackpool is a far bigger derby than Burnley, so I don't know where you are getting that one from.

The crowd argument is ludicrous. The last Manchester City v Wycombe Wanderers gate was bigger than the crowd for the last Sheffield Wednesday-Sheffield United meeting but it doesn't mean it's a bigger game.

That said, to suggest that PNE-Blackpool is a bigger derby than the Sheffield or Black Country ones is a bit ludicrous.

PNE-Blackpool was just another Lancashire derby, no more significant than either than Blackburn or Burnley to each other, until the 1950s when Matthews and Finney were around and the two were massive rivals at the top of the league too.

Anyway, listening to the big one on Radio Lancashire at the moment.

Sounds a terrible game.
