I'm not a fan of taking recievers that high. If your drafting in the top 10 you have more problems than just reciever. Irrelevent of how good they are there rarely turn your franchise around. Take Calvin Johnson (who I think is in the top 3 recievers in the league). How good he plays is irrelevent because they can't keep Stafford from getting injured.

I would never take a reciever in the top 10,too much risk in taking one that high much better to take a lineman,DB or a top QB.

Brandon Merriweather has apparently shot 2 people in Florida. I don't know what's happened to this numpty in the last year but he has turned in to a headcase on and now apparently off the field!

There were strong rumours he was going to be traded a few months ago because of his poor play, I really thought he was going to become a great player after his first few seasons but after last years performance and now this I guess not. It's not the first time he's shot at people either

I hope he get's away with it so we can get some draft picks out of him

Been reported by eye witnesses he tried breaking up the fight which lead to the people being shot...sounds about right him missing a tackle eh

Yeah there's loads of stories coming out now, sounds like people are trying to protect him to me.

Even if he isn't the shooter I think it's time to get rid, anyone who puts themselves in situations like that is too much of a distraction. It still amazes me just how many NFL players get into trouble with the law, I know they are famous so the stories make it into the press more but there is some big daft lads about!
