Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."

In a recent copy of League Express there was a letter from me that referred to the decline in mental health of some players when they finish playing, some referees when they finish refereeing and some supporters as they grow old. My suggestion on how to deal with this problem is to spend time each week writing a novel based heavily on your own life, a novel that can include tales from your childhood, family history, school days, work, home town, your hobbies and connections with rugby league.
Many people who I have told this to have generally agreed with all this but go on to say that they would just not know how to do it. With such people in mind I have also written three pages of advice all based on the fact that since starting to write my first novel "One Winter" in 1988, I have now written half a million words in six novels in a series that starts in 1962 and runs up to 2008.
If you would like to read these three pages of advice, contact me at wgeofflee@gmail.com and ask me to send you "Geoff's RL Writing Advice However you may prefer to read one of my six novels first or give it to someone as a Christmas present In that case I would recommend my latest novel which is called "Three Good Years" and is set between 2006 and 2008 with a background of Work, Family Life, Saving the NHS and Rugby League. If so
