Why is it that whoever in charge of Saints there is always a game or 2 where the entire team is "injured" Is it a tactic to gain momentum to the play offs

I think there’s a rule of a maximum of 6 from each club.

I enjoyed the game, I thought the young Saints lads gave their all and did themselves and their club proud. Cas overplayed a little at times though and really should have won with more.

If Dodd wouldn't have been injured, they'd have easily made it

I'm not saying they won't be selected. I'm saying that, depending on Saints' situation at the time and injuries etc, they won't all play.

I'll be interested to see, if Saints have less than 6 involved for England, whether they'll allow Paasi or Mata'utia, for example, to represent the All Stars.

I have no idea what the rules are for late additions into the AS squad, but it seems pretty obvious that their squad has been done/based around the group Wane has picked. If Wane doesn't name his team until a few days before you can't expect Hanley to just go out and start rounding everyone else up who's not selected. It defeats the object of naming a squad.

Roby has retired from international RL.

Matty Lees will probably be in the squad too, having a good season.
