Toulouse game. : Tue Feb 22, 2022 4:02 pm
Due to the wording of the French travel documents I asked this question on the Wire fans board.

We (Wigan) are playing Toulouse the week after yourselves so a bit of help would be greatly appreciated regarding what documents are required.

Reading the French government site it states that you need passport, proof of covid vaccination and sworn undertaking to comply with rules of entry into metropolitan French territory. No problem.

However it also states that "you may" be required to fill in a passenger locator form (PLF).

For any of you travelling to the game this weekend could you please advise if this is necessary?

I know we have to fill a plf for the return journey back to England.

Thanks in advance.

As Wire travel over there this weekend it maybe worthwhile keeping an eye on any replies for any Wigan fans planning on going, two Wire fans have already.

If it helps, Crystal Ski (TUI), update their website with the latest requirements for travel to France (& other countries). Looks like you just need to do the statement of honour.

I replied on the Warrington thread, but this link may actually explain it all a bit more clearly:

https://www.jet2holidays.com/safe-travel/travel-requirements/france

It's all useful info including on wearing masks in France.

However, ignore the refunds and cancellation bit, as Jet2Holidays aren't likely to sort you out with a refund from Michael O'Leary and Ryanair

I think the Wolfs fans may struggle with a 'statement of honour'...

There will be a pint on the bar at the station awaiting your arrival Brian. We are staying at the Ibis across the road from the station

We’re (hopefully) off skiing in France soon. I found the info below pretty easy to understand & also has links to the forms you need.
