'I just want to make sure I do what's right for the club and excel in 2011 and 2012'

What we knew anyway tbh :)

With this news in place I really hope we can work out a deal where Wane gets to spend a few months in Oz at some point in 2012 working with someone like Bennett, Bellamy or Sheens just so he can get out of the Wigan 'bubble' he's been in for 90% of his playing and coaching career.

Also if we put in place who is gonna be who will be Wanes number 2 it will allow them time to try the role in Wanes absence.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.

Radders is a good option as he's more mellow than Wayne much in the same way Wayne is the snarling beast behind a quiet Madge.

It could work but my only real issue is that I don't see Radders as a head coach. That may not be a problem however as I'm not a huge fan of constantly bringing coaches through the club system and into the head coach role. You can do it once and maybe twice but that's it.

Great shout.

As someone else said, promote from within and allow Radders to take over as No2 when it's decided the time's right for Waney to step up.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

I agree, at some stage you need a culture change.

It's very hard to maintain success like that. Whilst the initial revolutionary coach achieves great results once the torch is passed it's just a count down to failure imo.

You only have to look at the Elliot-Noble-McNamara progression line for that. Elliot revolutionised Bradford, Noble had great success but you could see the cracks and Macnamara was a complete failure. Even the famous Anfield boot room had it's day.

The only way you can sustain a great tradition at a club is by keeping the original innovator imo.

You need to realise that you’ve got a once in life time type of manager and you give him what ever he needs to stay for as long as he wants like Utd have done with Fergie, Brisbane did with Bennett, Arsenal with the Wenger and I can see it happening with Bellamy at the storm as well.

I would say it was more Brian Smith who revolutionised Bradford
