Wellens & even Meli did a decent job dealing with theb but still had plenty of pressure which is good to see. 1000% improvement on the Leeds kicking.

Everyone who kicked had a good kicking game last night, some of them were sensational kicks. Absolutely wonderful to see on the last.

I completely agree with what has already been said. Our kicking game, which is something I have often criticised this season, was very good on Saturday and was one of the reasons why we got off to such a good start.

A massive improvement from the week before and definately the reason for the great start.

A great kicking game all round from all involved , even Mickey Mac with his cross field kick early on , I mean where did that come from .

tommy's long range kicking was vastly improved and may i say the mikey mac and gleeson kicks weren't bad either. Just shows how a decent kicking game can influence a game.

was thinking about the leeds kicking game. could it have been game plan to kick to the same leeds defender regular to try to tire him out. just a thought

Yuo have to give credit to the forwards though im not sure if we had ti kick from our own half at all, easy yards all night

I've watched the game a few times and I am amazed with Paul Deacons kicking game, unreal the places they were landing, one sailed over Wellens head and really puzzled him.

That's exactly why most of of want him to stay on next year. If you can turn around and puzzle arguably the best full-back in the league (bar Sam, obviously

) then you've got a bloody good kicking game.

Massive improvement, and a timely one at that.
