Awful referee. One of the lowest ranked at the RFL.

He was the referee for the Widnes v Toulouse game - and then he was shocking.

Had him in the Huddersfield friendly and Hull away last season IIRC.

I've seen better refereeing in U15 games.

Had him at Harlequins and Hull early last year but it was Jamie Leahy who looked well out his depth at Huddersfield.

Hewer was offered a professional contract last month but turned it down.
