Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Apparently Lenegan sounded him out whilst over there, which is going back a while but could be true, we've already tried to sign one of the assistants at Melbourne in Kearney and now were going after the other.

I wouldn't worry about the Wigan Reporter. It really is the shallowest end of the pool in terms of Wigan journalism, just recycled bits and bobs from all the other papers.

It was in the Observer on Tusday and it was only case of Fairleigh saying 'i'd be interested in the Wigan job'.
