Matt Shaw said Huddersfield were reporting a huge increase in sales after Huddersfield Town won, so I went on their ticket site and it tells you when the last ticket was sold. This was at 9.30am the morning after the football won and a ticket hadn’t been sold for 45 minutes, so I wouldn’t be pinning my hopes on it making a huge difference.
I feel for Ken Davy and the Huddersfield club in general. I do not know what the problem is in the town but even when they’re successful, the public still do not back them in the numbers they deserve. The fans that do go are great (cow bell aside) and don’t deserve the cheap shots they get about their support (they are there after all).
