I think your right in that running French and Field at Hurrell all day is our best chance to get a result from this one. However I suspect we will not get enough chances to do it in this particular game with the numbers out, particularly in the three quarters. It feels a little like we've crossed a tipping point in losing so many from one particular area of the field. 5 or 6 spread out we could cope with. Less easy when 4 are from one area of the team. Disruption like we're getting from the Hardaker situation probably isn't helping either. I think we'll put up a show...at least I hope so...but I'd be surprised if we get the result. There's always hope in a Derby though so I'll be there with the usual pre match optimism! |

I know you have decent information so I'll take that as correct. Seems a bit harsh for 2 indiscretions though. That said, maybe Peet is laying down a marker, in which case you have to admire his resolve. When all's said and done this is the biggest regular season game and one he'll be desperate to win. |

I wouldn’t say it’s harsh. If true, Peet will have had a conversation with Hardaker after the first one and likely explained the consequences should it happen again. When it happened again he had no choice but to go through with it otherwise he’s loose respect. Basic management.
I just wish a few at my work would take a lead out of his book. |

I've got a decent sized team under me and I'd never dream of letting team issues, impact on the service we deliver to clients. If my best team member was a bad egg, then I'd be having serious words and looking to replace them. I wouldn't however take him off my top client's account, especially if they had a mega important project. That would go down like a lead balloon and i doubt me saying "oh he's still here, I'm just teaching him a lesson and setting the culture. We've got a junior working on that important project your paying us."
That doesn't make me weak on culture, if you've got a bad apple then get rid of them. Don't let it impact the service you deliver.

I think it could well be French/Field running at Hurrell be the xfactor but losing a great defender in the backs and kicker makes it a bit tougher to come away with a win.
But I will be there and i do believe we could do this as going to the game thinking we will lose is not a option for me .
