SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled. For 27 - 0 you get a trophy For 75 - 0 you get sod all. Wigan had eight in a row Saints have five in a row

It's not a "problem", more a fact of life Rogues. What's the point of going onto A Levels and (proper) University if it's not to be the best? No point in "making up the numbers for the sake of it" imho. I have to say that when I was at Winstanley, there were quite a few people there who I thought was a waste of taxpayers money for them to be there. God knows how the "lesser" colleges fared.
From experience.
JR cared about people.
WC cared about results.

i have seen it used and you can understand why some people would rather it be near Warrington than actually just Warrington

Lancs.
Not putting Skelmersdale on our address thank you very much.

what it doesnt take into account is that RBHS is a centre of excellence for Science, and has an exceptional anti bullying policy.

WC then.
What exactly do you want out of a 6th form college? What's the point of going on to do A Levels if you are not striving for results?
Not that I agree with the fact that WC don't "care", If I wanted somewhere that "cared about people" I would send my child to the Samaritans.

23 - 20 - 4 Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

Totally agree with that, Winstanley was the only place I wanted to go because it was the best for results, albeit this was 12 year ago. I never once got the impression that they didn't care for their students either, but there was a push to succeed. WC always had the best totty too
Each to their own I suppose

Well it's between there and John Rigby as Wigan have moved all their A-levels to Leigh. Ten years ago Wigan was miles ahead of Winstanley in Geography, Geology and Environmental studies at least.
There's no hope for me then, as I was doing all those A-Levels at Winstanley in 2000.
Is Winstanley still the higher education choice of the pushy middle-class parent?
Yes, it certainly was when I was there and to make matters worse on this thread, I'm married to a Saints fan and live in Lowton which now has an identity crisis whether it is Wigan at all.
Where did it all go wrong?
