Just heard from a wire fan that claims to be in the know that Sam has signed for them (presumably for next year) theres no way I can see it being true and I was under the impression that he had a cast iron 3yr deal that prevented him going to any other club in any other code or country.

He claimed that he signed when he was at wembley last week for approx 380k per year.


Thoughts?

He's the name that keeps popping in my mind.

It's the Maguire conection and the fact we were so easy about letting Lima go that makes me think it may be him.

There are some f**king morons on this board!!! Correct me if I'm wrong but this is the RUMOURS thread isn't it???? I didn't say I believed it Did I?? I stated quite clearly that it couldn't possibly be true, I was merely asking other peoples thoughts on the subject. the guy who told me was deadly serious and claimed to be a family friend, again I'm quite sure this isn't true but was wondering if anybody had heard anything similar? Is it so hard to believe that warrington would be interested in signing the current best british player?? They are always linked with top players due to being a top side and having a very wealthy owner.

If you can only reply with some smart a**e comment about it being quiet at work or that I'm an imbecile or that I am from winnick (massively disprespectful to people who are unfortunate to need to be in such a place) then seriously don't f***ing bother.


A tiny (and I mean tiny) part of me would love it if he did sign there just to show some of the p***ks on here up.

There is a certain bunch of Wire supporters who continue to delude themselves that Sam is actually a closet Wire fan because he lived there for a year or so when he was about three and is therefore planning to join them at some point.

God forbid they should ever do anything as outrageous as discover and develop their own child prodigies.
