You can't have a team full of stars all on like £80k+ a year. You need the solid players like Chris who will be on an average or possibly below average wage of less than £60k.

We've got 2nd rowers by the dozen though. Tuson is decent but never going to be anything more than a backup, we have enough young 2nd rowers coming through to not need to have him around the squad. The likes of Hughes and Lloyd can provide enough minutes to take his place in the squad.

I like Tuson. He's a solid grafter but I agree with this post. I think despite less experience, Hughes in particular offers more to the squad than Tuson already. It's a luxury to have so many decent squad players. Just don't forget that Tuson leathered the coward McGennis at magic weekend so that'll do for me!

I think the Bradford game showed the difference between Hughes/Lloyd and Tuson. Hughes and Lloyd were falling off tackles that Tuson would have completed. Whilst Tuson isn't a 'world beater', he is miles in front of the other two development and strength wise. The two lads will have their day but, Lloyd in particular, that day isn't just yet.

The Moa rumour seems to be gathering pace but who knows. These things are never clear cut as shown by Lopini Paea signing a new deal at Catalans when the Hull FC fans were convinced he'd signed for them.

They can add him to Fielden, Leuluai, Finch and Hock as players that have been 'signed' only to see it all prove to be balls.

Dont quite understand the flak that Tuson gets.

Only recently (2-3 years) are some posters remarking on Hansen's positive contribution to the team, even though a defensive shift can go unnoticed.

Tuson is basically HH around 5 years ago. If he carries on we will have a very dependable and solid back rower.
