No chance, we have Powell, Smith, Hampshire and Williams all fighting for those two starting halfback positions next year. No need at all to sign a half as I'm sure we won't

Are they after a transfer fee and Cas can't afford one?

Only thing Sneyd would offer us is his goalkicking ability IMO. His general game isn't any better then what we already have and I expect lads like Williams and Hampshire to go on to become far better players.

We need forwards and possibly a centre.

Yeh I agree, I don't think Sarginson's best position is centre. I'd be pretty happy with Gelling and Thornley as starting centres next year (or Goulding if gets back to his best but rumoured to be off anyway), but I wouldn't argue if we brought someone in if the right quality is available. Tautai will bring some much needed size to the backrow, then we need a couple of decent props to replace anyone who leaves (Taylor and/or Dudson).

Add Sarginson to that list who played in the halves for the England Knights.

1 signing would do it for me if Taylor leaves. Either a prop or a back rower depending on which position Tautai plays for us
