I hope we're not in a Luther Blisset/John Barnes situation here. Ben Cross is a no nonsense, go forward prop on the verge of origin selection, Ben Ross is not Ben Cross.

Cracking player, but would be a very risky signing without seeing him play. Then again if it came off, you could have gotten him on the cheap and he could potentially be one of the best in sl.

Luke Davico springs to mind.

We cant take the gamble. Maybe a side like Saints, Leeds who have a decent pack can take the risk we cant risk paying him loads of money and then lose him very quickly.

Ratchford was never at Wigan at academy level, they were apparently not interested in him. That was from an interview he did with Radio Manchester.
