I would give Ainscough a start on Friday if Phelps is out.
Agree with that
I fear that if the likes of S. Tomkins and Ainscough don't get their chance sooner rather than later we could end up losing them which would be disastrous

if karl pryce needs match fitness then why not farm him out on loan to a championship side so he can play in the NRC?

Roberts and Richards both picked up knocks as well
Phelps is most likely going to miss Castleford next week.
Ainscough could well get his chance, I would like to see Pryce included if he's going to get match fitness he needs to start somewhere.

I predict Pryce is going to be THE biggest waste of money we have ever spent.

I was just going to sugest this, it is exactly what he needs in my opinion, a month by month rolling loan would suit us down to the ground, it would give his fitness a much needed boost, allow us to check on his attitude against other experienced pro's and means he does not have to wait till the reserves (which is a lower standard anyway i feel) to get started prior to even being considered for first team action with Wigan.
Ainscough to start vs Cas.

Pryce needs time. When Wigan signed him it was said to be long term project. Expecting him to play only 15 months after being signed is asking too much surely.
