Played great Knowles. How typical of Wane it was to play him at prop? Saints really let that game down tonight though. No way was the original intention of the All Stars to play a few English players. Saints had Coote, Grace, Naiqama, Paasi, Mautautia and Thompson who could’ve played and were blocked. Tomkins and Davies drive 16 hours straight to play and those lads weren’t allowed to drive 15 minutes up the road.

Shameful.

Wit ha reserve grade to run next year it looks like we have one hell of a lot of recruitment to do as there have been no signing announcements currently

if thats true, thats hilarious, which describes redvee to a tee at the moment.

Its an echo chamber, without any self awareness, they've been turning on each other in recent weeks.

But also coming up with suggestions like, the tomkins one, and also mentioning harvey livett to replace thompson bentley.

I'd absolutely love us to bring Sam back.

He's one of the few players that's worth going in there with a blank cheque and asking him to name his price.

A signing like that would lift the whole mood surrounding the club.

You're not wrong. I think there'd be some serious tantrums from sections of both sets of fans (Saints and Wigan)

I personally think it's an absolute non-starter. He has told mates he is staying at Catalans anyway but even if he doesn't, I can't see him entertaining a move to Saints.

I'd personally have no issue as he's still a top player and has matured a lot over the last few years, but as I say I think it's a complete non-starter.

IIRC correctly Tomkins wasn’t on the recent list of players out of contract, which meant he’s signed again for Catalans or elsewhere already, so he can’t be in talks with any club anymore. I could be wrong though. Tom Davies was on the list as still being available to speak to.
