A bit of hill running also this week I believe.

The thing is with playing for Wigan - when the losing is bad its really bad - but the upside is that when the team are winning there is no better club to play for - players can be treated like Gods and they are praised around the town and are adored.

This isn't some mediocre club where the fans aren't that bothered and its just a player's job. You have to take the bad times with the good.

I just wish they'd show some passion - Hock seems to be the only one who does, but he just ends up getting frustrated and giving away penalties. Where's our captain when we need him?

The 5 Live summariser really pee'd me off last week after the game. Think it was Dave Woods.

He said "there's a bit of arrogance amongst Wigan fans, they don't expect to lose at home to the likes of Castleford."

I thought no, that's not the case. If a team plays well against us and Wigan have a damned good go as well and they still beat us I don't care who we lose against. That's the game. Sure I always want us to win, but it's the manner of these 2 home defeats that is annoying people. When we were awful in 2005 and 2006 the team tried hard even though they weren't that skilful.

The players have to accept this criticism as it is justified at the moment.

wigan players should be used to recieving criticism, they are playing for the most recognised rugby league club in the world and they are getting tonked by the likes of castleford and wakefield, what do they expect the fans and press to do? praise them for it?

it seems to me that some of the players have no ambition, and these players need to be got rid of asap if they are to continue to accept losses against wakefield and castelford, if these players had one ounce of ambition they would be criticising themselves, not waiting for the fans and press to do it for them. the lads need to get a bit of balls about them and realise that the season is 3 weeks old and we have 0 points!
