Yeah, Vievers played very well. He's an exciting attacking prospect.

Sam Thompson was absolutely shocking. On one occaison he literally ran away from the ball when he saw Paul Prescott about to sniper him.

Stefan Marsh scored two good tries but didn't re appear in the second half. Thornley made one good break but spoiled it by making a poor inside pass instead of taking the fullback in or chosing the easier pass to the wing.

I thought Thornley wasn't the only one TBH. There were several breaks made with an unmarked support player on the outside but on each occasion we went inside and the move broke down.

There were some very good passages of play but both teams turned over a lot of ball and I think a one word match report would be - scrappy!

he is one of the worst players i have played against no joke. Absoultely no bottle at all and i nearly choked on me tea last year when i saw him running out for saints 1st team agaianst leeds i just couldnt believe it. Surely would have been found out by now though!

To be honest it was a first hit out and quite a few 18's were having a run out, Anthony Mullally is a monster of a lad but only 17 and he stil has a lot of learning ahead but will be a cracker for the future. Thompson hasnt featured since early season and has been dropped from the first team for some poor displays. Quite a few of them Wigan lads are also full time so it was no disgrace.


Anyone know how Danny Mills got on on the wing for Widnes?
