Yes, finishing third two years running with an average squad is seriously underachieving isn't it.

If the chairmen jumped on this band wagon approach we'd end up with a new coach every year a la the soccer premiership clubs, there'd be no stability...it's not long since stability was the buzz word for what everyone thought the club needed, how things change after a few losses.

6. Put it down to a bad start and work to achieve better. Strangely enough these do happen even for the best teams in world sports. (hmm United rings a bell)
7. Ignore the fickle fans asking for every man and his dogs head.

8. Remain positive, perception is projection and if he didn't remain positive the team would recognise this and not play to win.

The Chairman should be worried that he could well have the head coach knocking on his door and telling him we are where we are as he hasn't signed the quality front rowers that the coach identified and wanted.
Last night we ended the game with 11 fit men (Noble). That is due to Hull having a big front row with bulk in the 2nd row (Manu).
We don't need any back rowers but we need props.
Last night Feka was the best prop on the field. One big guy with bulk who did 54 mins btw. Fielden was good too and Eamon puched above his weight all game. We were still out muscled and ended with 6 injured players as their big men slammed into our small guys.
O'Carroll & McIlorum had the big men running into them all the time they were out there.
Ian Lenagan has to bring at least one if not two props into the squad. Also this excuse that they aren't around and those that are too expensive won't wash anymore.
If there's a shortage then the price goes up wether it's prop forwards or anything else.
These two defeats aren't Brian Noble's fault they are Ian Lenagan's. He should have brought props in and he hasn't. That's why why we've lost and ended up with so many injured players.
Noble has got the very best out of what he's got. It's just that what he's got isn't good enough!
Noble's awasome foursome of Vagana, McDermott, Fielden & Anderson were big aggressive and of course bloody awesome. Ian Lenagan should provide Noble with similar. Caisley could do and so can Lenagan. He just needs the will.

The chairman should and ask himself why he had over 6 months to sign at least one prop and a quality stand off and came up with neither.

FFS. We came third last year, lost by 6 against Wakey and 8 against Hull.

End of the world, isnt it?

Friday, Riddell was a gonner after 5 mins and limped on until he was replaced 15 mins. Also had 5 other injured players by full time.
If Ryles is Cats only injury then they've got off lightly compared to us.

This ties in with what I said before.

I cannot believe that Nobby, given his "playing style" would leave himself short in the forwards out of choice.

If IL has not provided the coach with the right backing then we need to ask him some questions.

All this anger towards BN could be misguided.

As the current chairman of WRLFC these ae my options:..

1, Have a Heart to Heart with Nobby & the players.

2, Keep my nose out.

3, Sack, a seriously underacheiving coach that has lost the plot

4, Head in't Sand.. :(

What does no 18 suggest????

and get who!!!!!!!!! this really annoys me, we can get no better coach than Noble and you lot who think Edwards will come here, youve got another thing coming! there is no way on this earth that he will leave the position he's in at Wales and Wasps to come to Wigan. Noble is the best thing to happen to this club in recent years
