Ah I think that's a bit harsh. Given Wigan 6-7 years at 1st grade and Iv never felt he's given less than 100%.

Aye, Gildart has been a good player and a good pro for Wigan. I’ve bagged a couple of his mates for leaving a bit in the tank in their time at Wigan but I wouldn’t say that about him. He’s fulfilled his contract and I hope he goes well for West’s.

Yep, he leaves with my best wishes - he’s been quality for us since day 1.

Williams will be a great addition, I’m a Hastings fan but GW is a definite upgrade. Also solves our goal kicking issues. Kind of.

I guess Wire want to keep him but the talk is that HKR have put a big contract in front of him and it’ll now be a case of how close Wire can get to it. He’ll stay at Wire for me but they’re going to end up paying him more than they’ll have initially wanted to. If we’ve got the money (it doesn’t matter if you have space if you don’t have the money) then I’d certainly be happy to hear we’re in for him. He’s improved massively this past 18 months.

Contract expires end of this year.

I’m certain he won’t stay at Wire, he would’ve signed already if he wanted to.

It could be a chance if Coote went as well but I’d have it as very doubtful. I think his agent is trying to up his Wire price tbh. There are loads of rumours going round at the minute and it’s being driven by Matthew Shaw and this new Rugby League Live site in conjunction with players agents doing live interviews on social media with him. I like it tbh and it helps bring much needed media attention to the sport, even if some of it is tactical driving up of players deals.
